I'll be there as soon as possible.

[And true to his word, there he is about half an hour later, hood drawn up into his face. He doesn't wish to be recognized after all.]

[That gives ??? enough time to finish up his conversation with Roxas since he's been sitting on top of the table inside the store the whole time.

And he'll continue to sit there until Dataku pushes the door open and talks (even texts) first.]

[He pulls back the hood of his cloak once he's made sure that the door is shut tightly, glancing over to the figure sitting on the table. He is not entirely sure how to approach him now that they are actually in a room together - even though he himself had been the one to call for it.

Though... considering that, he supposes it's only right for him to open it as well.]

I'm glad to finally meet you.

[He really is.]

[And the talking begins...except ??? will just reply by typing in a large font with his screen up so that the words are viewable.]

How has being outside the Datascape been treating you?

[He glances over the words on the screen, then back at ???.]

Well enough, I suppose... it takes some to get used to being 'real' though.

[So many new needs to keep track of... being more than data is more work than he 'remembers'.]

[That is definitely new information, and for a moment he's not quite sure if he's interpreting the Journal's words correctly.]

[His typing is fast and somewhat urgent to express the tone he can't share, and he also taps into his ability to reach out mentally. It's a safety precaution, just so he can scan the area outside of the store, and to monitor any opposing thoughts.

But...he doubts he'll pick up a lie.]

[He shrugs lightly, frowning.]

Exactly that. With my arrival in this world, I ceased to be just data.

[And it troubles him... makes him uncomfortable. While he has somewhat gotten used to the new requirements and limitations this world has put on him... it also has his challenges.]

[...??? isn't quite sure if he's supposed to be jealous or sympathetic. Maybe it's just a difference the gods wanted to create between the different types of data. His was never supposed to exist in the journal, after all.]

How unfortunate. It must be a pain.

[ Ha ha. It does explain why he took so long though.]

Don't call me either of those. You'll have to call me something else.

[Since he's collecting nicknames and all. He's not very pleased that the Journal knows both of them though.]

But it doesn't really matter if you call me anything.

[Well, he can't quite help stumbling over them, considering how easy it is to mistake the two of them considering that they are using the same format to communicate on the network. He shakes his head.]

It does matter. Names are important.

[Or they should be. Especially to them.]

And that's why I don't have one.

[Just nicknames, nothing more than that.]

You should have one.

[Not just a nickname. A real name.]

If you couldn't tell from my label on the network, I don't.

[And he's not handing out Roxas' name, that's for sure.]

That doesn't mean you shouldn't have one. Or that you can't have one for that matter.

[And yes, he is going to be stubborn about this. He doesn't like leaving things unnamed.

Besides, it's not like he is suggesting to use his Original's name. He would never use Riku's name himself either after all.]

[For just a moment he raises an eyebrow - it's not like he's really scowling that much... or unwarranted ~~in his opinion anyways~~. Though considering who he was 'talking' to, he probably should have expected that.

He nods, then crosses his arms over his chest.]

What exactly have you been doing since your arrival?

Information retrieval, taunting people-- the usual. [Keywords.]

Considering the point in time you've been taken from, you must know who created the messages in the first place, correct?

The taunting part is kind of obvious. As for information, it was for assessing the situation and evaluating the people connected to Sora.

I also attacked Vanitas.

[He'll give a moment's pause just for the questions that would come up to sink in.]

He posed a threat to the creator, and I needed to paint a picture for myself. I also threatened Sora and Ventus to keep them on their toes.

[He crosses his arms, eyes closing as he processes that information... at least, now he knows why the other had warned him about this Vanitas-person.

He can't help but frown at that last statement though. Somehow, he doesn't imagine threatening them to be very productive.]

What kind of threat?

The empty, wordy kind.

[Though, "empty" probably shouldn't be there. It all depends on how he wants to paint his picture.]

I did have to remind Sora what kind of trouble he caused here. The pain he caused-- he was really oblivious. It was laughable, almost.

Whatever he did... I doubt any pain he caused was meant intentional.

Of course not. But you can't expect him not to act stubborn, if he doesn't understand why he is being threatened.
